I-Lithium bis-trifluoromethane sulfonimide isetyenziswa ngokubanzi kwintsimi ye-organic synthesis. Ingasetyenziswa njenge-catalyst kwiinkqubo ezinamandla ze-acidic kunye ne-organic synthesis, njengemithombo ye-ion ye-fluoride kunye ne-alkali catalysts kwiinkqubo ezinamandla ze-alkaline.
